Stanley Liu provided some photos and insight on his
experience.
"With only 90s records in
my dive log, I only brought my new u/w video cam together in the
late 20 dives. It's amazing that I can get video and still
pictures just with one video cam. Although digital video cam
technology has been improving, the resolution of still pictures
hardly competes with conventional photography. The resolution of
still pictures that I stored in memory stick is around 1m pixels
which is far beyond from digital camera's 3~6m pixels and is
street-away from photo film. Anyway, I'm so overwhelmed by the
images captured with my DV that is acceptable for sharing joys and
fun. And, I like u/w videography so much to record vivid life in
documentary.
Hey! Don't say digital photography is low-skill required. Same
skills of u/w photography are vital to digital photography."
