Dear Keith,

I began diving at the age of twelve and consequently in the ensuring thirty-two years I have acquired quite an assortment of artifacts ranging from fossilized crocodile excrement to Spanish silver. The majority of these prizes provide no more than decorative clutter. Thus, my mind wrestled with the task of what obscure corner might be occupied by the algae and coral encrusted "thing" I discovered while diving in 150 feet of water in the Florida Keys.

Upon closer examination, I determined that the "thing" was some sort of underwater video system. Its value as a dust collecting conversation piece was quickly diminished as to my surprise, I pushed the power button and the system powered up. Another quick flick of what served as a base for an anemone immediately illuminated the area with intense light from the attached lighting system.
Upon surfacing, I subjected the system to a bath in bleach, followed by a mild bath of diluted muriatic acid. Revealed was an Ocean Images housing, lighting system with enclosed Sony video camera. The only description I can find to describe the condition of the system is to say that it looks "right out of the box new".
Lost at sea, submerged in 150 feet of salt water, left to the elements for months and good as new! Quite a testimonial!

Thanks for your personal attention and quick response in providing me with a charging system and owners manual, as the previous owner failed to lose those.
