underwater Dolphin housing for my Sony TR-700 camcorder for a
vacation dive trip to the Caribbean. I bought a basic package
without lights, but did include the filter, wide angle lens and the
soft carrying case. I am thrilled to report the results I achieved
without any previous underwater experience! Your underwater housing
is cleverly designed and easy to use. I got at least 30 minutes of
excellent footage on each dive at a depth of 30 to 80 feet. After
each dive I would play-back the footage for instant gratification. I
found the operation of the unit to be foolproof and very reliable. I
like the pushbuttons located on the handgrip and the quad seal on
the rear closure plate. Both features a step above other housings I
have seen. I applaud you on the design and the rugged construction
of both the Dolphin and the carrying case. As you suggested, I
placed my camcorder in the housing and then into the carrying case
and then carried it aboard the plane. It conveniently fit under the
seat and into the overhead. Thank you for your advice and for a
great product. It is refreshing to buy something in today's world
that operates better than advertised. " |
